The TLI workshop series is designed to extend campus conversations about teaching and learning and to share innovations in our instructional practice beyond our annual conference. TLI workshops are divided into three streams (SoTL at Guelph, Teaching Practice and Community Engaged Teaching and Learning), but there are no prerequisites for any of the workshops. You are welcome to attend any and all workshops that interest you.

Knowledge Mobilization in Community Engaged Learning
Faculty and students across U of G are working with a diversity of community partners through community engaged learning (CEL) courses to produce timely and highly relevant research and other scholarly products – but where does it all go, and who gets to share in this important co-created knowledge? This workshop will discuss various knowledge mobilization (KMb) approaches and tools that can be used to disseminate and implement findings from CEL courses. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss and reflect on how they may already practice putting knowledge into action or how they would like to support the implementation of co-created academic and community knowledge into practice.
